Somaya Solar successfully executed a 3 MW rooftop solar project for Naini Papers Limited, a paper manufacturing facility located in Kashipur, Uttarakhand.
The project involved the supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of the rooftop solar system, along with five years of Operations & Maintenance (O&M) support to help maintain reliable long-term system performance.

Scope of Work

The Challenge

One of the key requirements of the project was its tight execution timeline. The complete 3 MW rooftop solar project had to be delivered within just two months.
For a project of this scale, meeting the deadline required careful planning, efficient resource allocation, and simultaneous execution across multiple work fronts.

Our Approach

To meet the demanding project schedule, Somaya Solar deployed multiple installation and commissioning (I&C) teams at the site.
Instead of following a completely sequential execution process, different teams worked in parallel across multiple project activities. This approach helped optimize the available time, maintain coordination between different stages of execution, and keep the project on schedule.
Through structured project management and coordinated on-site execution, the team successfully completed the project within the required two-month timeline.

Project Outcome

The 3 MW industrial rooftop solar project was successfully completed, tested, and commissioned and is currently operational.
The project demonstrates Somaya Solar’s capability to execute large-scale industrial solar EPC projects within challenging timelines, while managing supply, installation, commissioning, and long-term O&M under a unified project scope.
